ROMEOs come through again

The Gardiner ROMEOs (Retired Old Men Eating Out) have once again come through with a generous prize donation: $250 cash in memory of Einar Forsman, Bob Minty, and Earl Gibson. These three figures have loomed large in Gardiner history, and are all deeply missed. Earl Gibson, in particular, was a tremendous force behind our salmon derby, and was heavily involved with Gardiner emergency services since their inception. Earl is listed as a benefactor of this derby (along with Sam & Patty Kyle and Helen Dent) for special contributions and support.

We are all grateful to the ROMEOs for their donation, and for sustaining the memory of Einar, Bob, and Earl.

We also received a generous donation today from Dennis and Diane Martin in honor of William R. Movius. A quick look at the prize list reveals many personal dedications among our donated prizes. Our community stands behind this derby.
