Olympic Peninsula Salmon Derby tickets are now on sale at our retail vendors as well as online.

Tickets are $40 at retailers and will be available until March 4.  Online tickets are $42.50 and are available through March 6 on this website.

Olympic Peninsula Salmon Derby March 8-10, 2019

Our next Olympic Peninsula Salmon Derby will be held March 8-10, 2019.  Online ticket sales begin December 1.  Physical tickets may be purchased starting the first week in January 2019 at select retail locations.  Ticket prices remain at $40 ($42.50 online) for one, two or all three days.

2018 Olympic Peninsula Salmon Derby Sets New Records!

The 2018 Olympic Peninsula Salmon Derby has concluded in record-breaking style! 857 tickets were sold, and for the first time in derby history, there was TIE for first place!  Micah Hanley of Mt. Vernon  received the $10,000 first prize for his 16.85lb fish caught Saturday morning, while Kyle Madison from Port Angeles took second place and $2,000 for his 16.85lb fish caught Sunday morning.  Larry Phillips from Olympia took the $1,000 third prize for his 16.40lb catch.   Thanks to all who participated,  including sponsors, volunteers, and anglers.  Dates for next year’s derby will be announced soon, see you next year!

Over 800 Tickets Sold!

Ticket Sales for the 2018 Olympic Peninsula Salmon Derby have officially concluded.  We are pleased to announce that our entries have surpassed 800 tickets!  Thank you for supporting the derby and good luck to all!

Harborside Inn Thank You

A special “thank you” to Young Im, owner of Harborside Inn, Port Townsend, who donated two nights for our Northwest Salmon Derby Series Director during our derby this weekend.  We really appreciate his generosity.  The Harborside Inn is located at 330 Benedict St,  conveniently located adjacent to the Port Townsend Boat Haven.

Online Ticket Sales end March 7

The 2018 Olympic Peninsula Salmon Derby starts Friday, March 9.  Tickets can still be purchased online through 11:59pm on Wednesday, March 7.  Go to the ticket tab on our this website to purchase your tickets for $42.50.  Tickets will be emailed to you and will need to be printed to bring with you to the derby.
